If applicant is under 18 years old, the original minor authorization letter must be provided to apply for the JW202 Form or DQ Form (Visa Application Form for Study in China).

1. The applicant's guardian must be a Chinese adult. In principle, the guardian's household registration (hukou) must be within Guangdong Province. Otherwise, it will be deemed invalid.

2. Please prepare the minor authorization letter according to the requirements. The authorization letter must include the following information: the guardian's personal information, the personal information of the minor (applicant), the personal information of the entrusting party (one parent), the entrusted matters, and the signature of the entrusting party (one parent), etc. The minor authorization letter must be notarizated by the Chinese embassy in the country of nationality or be apostilled (the notarization requirements may vary for each student's materials. After the initial review is completed, we will send the specific requirements to the applicant's email address). The notarized or apostilled original minor authorization lettermust be mailed to the Admissions Office of the School of International Education, South China University of Technology.

如果申请者不满18岁，申请JW202表或DQ表（来华学习签证申请表），需要提供未成年人委托书原件。

1. 申请者的监护人必须是中国籍成年人，户籍原则上要求广东省内，否则无效。

2. 请按要求准备未成年人委托书，委托书需要包含以下信息：监护人个人信息、被监护人（申请者）个人信息、委托人（父母一方）个人信息、委托事项，以及委托人（父母一方）的签名等。未成年人委托书须经过国籍所在地的中国大使馆认证或海牙认证（每个学生的材料认证要求可能不同，完成初审工作后，我们会将具体要求通过邮件发送至申请者邮箱。认证后的原件须邮寄至华南理工大学国际教育学院招生办公室。
